ARCHIE'S POSTCARDS
Hey there,
I love to talk, like, a lot. I could talk for hours and hours (and I do, mostly to myself.) Sadly, I don't have a lot of people to talk to IRL, and making posts about my thoughts is kind of pointless in most cases considering social media piles posts-on-top-of-posts. Also, places like Twitter have a character limit, which limits my rambling. I also just hate social media, so I figured making my own blog on my own personal website would be cool. I'll mostly talk about my life and things that interest me, and I might write articles at some point.
I suggest you view this site in fullscreen as the site looks incredibly different when minimized. You don't have to read any of these, obviously, but these are here if you're looking for something to pass the time. I hope you enjoy these and find my thoughts to be interesting.
Your friend,
Archie :-)
ARCHIE'S POSTCARD #1
Hey friends,
I hope you've been well. I've been coding non-stop for the past couple of months and I'm enjoying it so much! As you can tell, I have a lot of love for coding and web design. I've always been interested in this and I love how much creativity and freedom there is. In all honesty, working on neocities actually has improved my mental health a lot since I've been taking my mind off things by creating art. I obviously still have my down days, but I feel much better compared to how I was months prior.
Recently I've taken interest in playing Team Fortress 2 again since bots/hackers have been less rampent now. If you aren't already aware, TF2 has had a MAJOR problem with cheaters for a while now, probably three years at this point. The bots have reduced recently and I've started playing casual mode again. I'll be honest, playing casual again feels...strange; mainly because I've been playing on community servers only for a year. I've missed this.
Anyway, back to neocities: I've been have a lot of fun working on projects and sharing my creations with you. I love how welcoming and passionate the community is and I can't wait to meet more people and work on more projects. Thank you all for being so welcoming. I can't wait to see more and I wish you all well on your projects! :D.
Cheers,
Archie
