My name is Rita and I'm your new best friend! (^◡^) I'm an artist, 3D animation student, webmaster, and an aspiring Vocaloid cover producer (eventually, at least). I have many hobbies, though my favorite things to do are to play video games, code, draw, and hang out with my friends. My friends say that I'm kind, funny, charismatic, silly, and generally a wonderful friend! Personally, I find myself to be very entertaining to others and incredibly kind to everyone I meet, so don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like! I am very friendly and approachable, I promise! Along with seemingly every other neocities user, I was raised on the internet!!! Unfortunately this means I was chronically online at some point. If you knew me when I was 15 and under, no you didn't. Anyway! I have a fascination with all things old-web and I try to reflect that in the way I code. That fascination morphed into my fascination for web design, and I taught myself how to code! Now I'm also planning on pursuing web design in college. Wish me luck!

Aside from web design, the actual internet intrigues me and I'm very interested in the way that people interact with one another here! I love all things related to internet rabbit holes, lost media, ARGs, and old internet relics. I like to study how behavior online has significantly changed over time. It's especially funny looking back at my old posts as well and seeing how significantly LESS cringe I am now. Nowadays, I'm not nearly as active on social media as much as I used to be, but I am mostly active on Twitter.

Art is another major passion of mine! I'm entirely self taught and I'm planning on pursuing animation as my major. My art goals for the future are to improve my anatomy, draw more consistently than I do now, and to learn 3D art. I wanna make things on SFM and Blender so bad but my computer sucks and I am very unmotivated to learn!! I have a bit of experience, but it still sucks. Anyway, my dream is to work as a concept artist/animator for video games. I'm really hoping that someday I can make that dream a reality. I'm also doing it out of spite because my Dad doesn't approve of my decisions. Fuck you loser!

I love to make friends and I love to talk to people, though at the same time I'm also...pretty shy and reclusive at times. I may take longer to respond to people sometimes, so please be patient with me. Anyway, I love my friends! I especially love my boyfriend...he's amazing and I love talking about him and how wonderful he is. I love him so muchies...I know he might be reading this too. Hi Michael! If you're reading this, I hope you know that I truly love you so much. So much so that I coded an entire page dedicated to you on here. I love you so much my beautiful Mikey!!!
